We take great pride in the fact that our organization is 100% led and operated by dedicated and talented volunteers. However, in order to fulfill our mission to Preserve, Restore, and Celebrate the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse, we require the talents and expertise of a host of professionals including engineers, preservationists, architects, project managers, and contractors, as well as the necessary materials, permits and other resources. The list is long, but with your financial support, we can make this project a reality.
Your donations will help us to restore the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse, making it accessible to the public and showcasing its unique historical significance. Visiting Chicagoans and tourists will enjoy an unparalleled view of the city, learn about the evolution of lighthouse technology, the role the lighthouse played in Chicago's rich maritime history, and the job of the keepers who served at the lighthouse over its many years of manned operation.
As an IRS-approved 501(c)3 organization, your contributions are tax-deductible, as allowed bt law. Please consider supporting our efforts to preserve this important landmark. By doing so, you will be helping us to ensure that the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse remains a vital part of our city's heritage for generations to come.
Thank you for your consideration, and for helping us to restore the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse.
We recently earned a Candid Gold Seal of Transparency! Check out our nonprofit profile to keep up to date with our impact. https://www.guidestar.org/profile/shared/76821fab-b554-40a8-b18e-cdff86c4d68a
